On Friday, South Carolina Gamecocks offensive tackle Colin Henrich entered the transfer portal, according to On3.

Henrich attended St. John’s High School in Washington, D.C. He transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.

247Sports Composite rated him as a three-star recruit. He was listed as the 59th overall interior offensive lineman in the 2021 class. He received offers from Army, Buffalo, Kent State, Old Dominion, and UMass, but he, ultimately, committed to South Carolina as a walk-on. Henrich is the son of Chuck Henrich, who played center for the Gamecocks in the 1990s.

Colin Henrich redshirted his freshman year, but he did standout. He received the 2021 Scout Team Award.

Last season, Henrich did not appear in any games as a redshirt freshman.

The Gamecocks have lost 14 players in the transfer portal, per On3, including three four-star players (edge rusher Jordan Burch, running back Marshawn Lloyd, tight end Jaheim Bell).
