2023 long snapper Jordan Franke has committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks. He released a statement on Twitter.
“I am eternally grateful to Head Coach Shane Beamer and Coach Pete Lembo for believing in me and giving me this opportunity,” he wrote. “I cannot wait to play for you and for Gamecock Nation!”
Rubio Long Snapping ranked Franke as the 24th-best long snapper in the class.
“His body is much more solid and he looked very good on his feet,” they wrote. “He is ready for college right now. Easily one of the most accurate and consistent long snappers in the country. Hard working attitude.”
Franke attends Verona High School in Verona, WI. He is listed at 5’11” and 210 pounds.
The Gamecocks currently have two long snappers on their roster: Hunter Rogers and Cole Rasmussen. Both players are redshirt juniors.
Rogers was excellent last season; he was an All-SEC second team selection.
