2025 five-star running back Jordon Davison is planning to visit the South Carolina Gamecocks, according to Tony Morrell of 247Sports.
Davison is one of the best recruits in the 2025 class. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the top running back in the nation. He attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA. Mater Dei has produced many notable alumni, including Bryce Young, Matt Leinart, Matt Barkley, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
As a sophomore, Davison rushed for 1,514 yards and 17 touchdowns, while averaging a blistering 8.9 yards per carry. He also hauled in 12 receptions for 71 yards. He is listed at 6’0″ and 200 pounds. According to Hudl profile, he ran a 4.51-second 40-yard dash, and he can squat 435 pounds.
Davison has received 44 offers. He has taken visits to Colorado, Georgia, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Penn State. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Davison to stay in California and commit to USC.
