The South Carolina Gamecocks have offered 2024 three-star wide receiver Joseph Mcvay.
“After a great conversation with Coach Loggains I’m blessed to say I have received an offer from the University of South Carolina,” he tweeted.
Mcvay attends Earle High School in Earle, AR. He is coming off a spectacular junior season, in which he had 110 receptions for 1,561 yards, per MaxPreps.
According to his Hudl profile, he stands at 6’2″ and weighs 185 pounds; he also ran a 4.5-second 40-yard dash.
247Sports Composite ranks him as the 67th overall athlete in the 2024 class. Notably, he is also ranked as the ninth overall recruit in the state of Arkansas.
Mcvay has also drawn offers from Arkansas State, Colorado State, Purdue, Texas State, Tulane, Tulsa, UTSA, and Vanderbilt. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives Arkansas State the best odds to land him (15.7 percent).
South Carolina has added one wide receiver commit in the 2024 class, thus far (Mazeo Bennett).
