This offseason, South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers gained 13 pounds, according to Brad Crawford of 247Sports.

In spring, the freshman was listed at 232 pounds. He is now listed at 245 pounds.

Sellers’s frame is now comparable to recent first-round pick Anthony Richardson. Richardson stands at 6’4″, and he was the heaviest quarterback at the 2023 NFL Combine at 244 pounds.

Sellers was ranked as the No. 8 overall quarterback in the 2023 class by On3. He went to South Florence High School in Florence, SC. As a senior, he appeared in seven games, throwing for 1,374 yards, 18 touchdowns, and two interceptions, per MaxPreps. He also rushed for 507 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Sellers has a very high ceiling at the collegiate level. With his tools, he has the potential to be an elite dual threat quarterback. The added strength will allow him to absorb more hits and make him more difficult to take down in the open field.
