The South Carolina Gamecocks have offered 2024 defensive end Quintavius Johnson Jr.
“I’m very excited and humbled to receive an offer from University Of South Carolina,” he tweeted.
The Gamecocks are the 15th program to offer him, joining Austin Peay, Connecticut, Fort Valley State, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Toledo, and UCF.
Johnson attends Mays High School in Atlanta, GA. He is listed at 6’5″ and 255 pounds.
At Mays, he actually plays both defensive end and quarterback. As a freshman, he had 130 pass attempts, per MaxPreps.
On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Georgia the best odds to land Johnson at 13.1 percent. In sequential order, they are followed by Tennessee, South Carolina, LSU, and North Carolina.
