2024 four-star edge rusher Kameryn Fountain is visiting the South Carolina Gamecocks on Thursday.
“I will be at South Carolina Thursday!” he tweeted.
247Sports rates Fountain as the sixth-best edge rusher in the 2024 class. He attends Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, GA. He is listed at 6’6″ and 237 pounds.
In 2022, he racked up 56 total tackles, seven sacks, eight quarterback hits, and three fumble recoveries. He also plays basketball. HoopSeen ranks him as the ninth-best power forward in the state of Georgia.
As a football player, Fountain has received offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kansas State, Kentucky, Marshall, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, UAB, USC, and Western Kentucky.
South Carolina and Tennessee are the only two schools that he has visited.
Currently, the Gamecocks have the No. 8 2024 recruiting class in the nation, per 247Sports Composite. However, they have only added one defensive player: four-star linebacker Wendell Gregory.
